Thank you for your interest in helping with the Arkansas Cornbread Festival. We couldn’t make the day so great without our special ingredient: volunteers just like you!

We are currently recruiting volunteers to be on the 2017 Coordinating Committees. Email info@arkansascornbreadfestival.org if you are interested.

The 2017 Coordinating Committees include:

Cornbread Competition – The heart of the Festival! This committee manages the recruitment of competitors, the competition judging, and competitor hospitality and support.

Vendor and Business Relationships – Builds relationships with local businesses and determines creative ways to include them in the Festival, recruits Festival vendors, and manages vendor set-up and hospitality.

Sponsorships – Recruits sponsors to offset costs of the Festival. Manages sponsor promotion, benefits, and hospitality.

Marketing – Develops and implements the marketing strategy for the 2017 Festival.

Volunteers – Recruits and manages volunteers for pre-event set-up, day-of-event tasks, and post-event clean up.

Operations – Manages Festival safety and legal requirements, event layout and setup, contracts, supplies, communication, and transportation.

Ticketing and the VIP Experience – Manages all event ticket sales and develops and implements the new Cornbread Festival VIP experience.

External Events – Plans and implements external events related to the Arkansas Cornbread Festival.

Entertainment – Secures musicians, games, Kids Zone participants, and other entertainment for the Festival. Takes care of entertainment support and hospitality.

Merchandising – Manages the purchase, inventory, and sales of all Arkansas Cornbread Festival merchandise.

Sign up for volunteers to help with Festival set-up, day-of tasks, and clean up will be available in September.
